01

The journey

A mountain path
through living history.

This seven-day route brings together several faces of Hubei: Wuhan's river-city confidence, Suizhou's musical and archaeological heritage, Wudang's Taoist landscape, and Xiangyang's connection to the Three Kingdoms.

The centre of the journey is Wudang Mountain. Stone stairways, historic temple complexes and forested ridges create a setting where architecture, philosophy and movement belong to the same landscape. The route balances guided cultural discovery with time to absorb the atmosphere at a considered pace.

04

What stays with you

More than
a mountain view.

Wudang is experienced through movement: the rhythm of stone steps, the shift from forest to temple courtyard, and the relationship between the built environment and the mountain itself.

01

Sacred architecture

Historic halls, gates and cliffside complexes reveal how architecture adapts to an extraordinary mountain setting.

02

Living philosophy

Taoist ideas of balance and harmony gain context through the landscape, local culture and wellness traditions.

03

Hubei in perspective

Wuhan, Suizhou and Xiangyang place the mountain inside a broader story of river trade, archaeology and political history.

05

What to expect.
